I discovered Snapea Crisps about a year ago and I can say that I truly liked them. So when I was given the opportunity to review more flavors (which I never knew existed) I was excited!
- Lightly Salted Snapea Crisps
- Black Pepper Snapea Crisps
- Caesar Snapea Crisps
- Wasabi Ranch Snapea Crisps
- Onion Thyme Lentil Crisps
- Tomato Basil Lentil Crisps
These snacks are truly delicious and I love that I do not have to feel guilty when eating them!
Here are some of the great things I like about these snacks:
- Gluten Free and GMO Free
- Baked – not fried!
- Less fat and salt than potato chips
- Higher levels of protein and fiber
- Lower glycemic index
Snapea Crisps are made of green peas, corn oil, rice, salt, calcium carbonate and vitamin C. They have 120 calories for 22 crisps, only 80 mg of sodium in the lightly salted version, 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.
I enjoyed mixing some of the flavors together – The Tomato Basil Lentil Snaps tasted great with the Caesar Snapea Crisps! You can eat the Crisps right out of the bag or enjoy them inside a sandwich or in a salad! I even floated a few in my tomato soup this week during lunch!
Wondering if your kids will like them? Well, last weekend I took the Crisps over to my daughter’s house where we were gathering together for a Labor Day picnic. I introduced the Snapea Crisps and Lentil Snaps to my grandkids and they loved most of the flavors. Wasabi was a little too spicy for them but they loved the Tomato Basil Lentil Snaps and the Lightly Salted Snapea Crisps! My granddaughter even enjoyed the Black Pepper Snapea Crisps! Their mom is excited because now she has a healthier snack option to pack in their lunchboxes this school year!
So, if you want a snack that is healthier than your usual potato chips and tastes great, be sure to check out these Snapea Crisps and Lentil Snaps! Happy Snacking! 😆
Doesn’t my lunch that I packed for school tomorrow look delicious?
