As a teacher, I know how important it is to keep your kids busy and their little minds stimulated over the summer. The thing is, most kids don’t want to just sit down and read or do flashcards. But, what if there was a way to have them learn without them even realizing it because the activity they are doing is so much fun?
Parents are on the lookout for some inexpensive things to do over the summer and I have found one that you are going to love! It’s called Passport to Imagination Museum Road Trip and it can be found at Michaels Craft Store! Michaels has partnered with 7 of North America’s best museums to create a museum road trip. Each day, kids will experience culture through crafts with projects inspired by world-class museum exhibits.
The program is a summer crafting class that is held in-store for kids ages 5 and up. The program started on June 16th and will run through the summer until August 1st. It is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and costs only $2 per class!
Each class will take kids to a museum and they will do some crafts inspired by that museum. Michaels will also provide easy “At-Home” projects for parents to enjoy with their kids. The first 50 attendees at each store will receive a free brag book, which is a mini portfolio of your child’s work (or you can buy one for $1.99)!
