And my friend Heidi says: “I have done this since high school ~ one for the curling iron for travel (don’t use that anymore) and one for the cord to the beaters in the kitchen.”

Since January is the month for getting organized, I will be bringing you some organization ideas over the next few weeks. Here is one that I found over at JazzieandTahlia. It is a great idea and could be used for flashcards, too!
The bad thing about playing so many card games is that the box that the cards come in starts falling apart. I used to tape the box or simply put a rubber band around the cards, until I decided to put them in small storage boxes:
I simply cut the labels from the card boxes and taped them to the front of the plastic boxes. Each box holds the directions to the game and some paper and a pencil for keeping score.
I just love being organized. It’s the little things 😉
