I just love the holidays!  There are so many fun things to do with the family! We have a few family traditions around here that make being together with friends and family so exciting and we make so many new memories every year! One of the things that I enjoy doing while we are having fun is capturing all of the memories on my camera. It’s fun to look back and see what we looked like and I especially love looking at all the fun clothing we are wearing! I have always loved buying my kid”s holiday clothing from Gymboree because they have such a great collection for every occasion and the prices just can’t be beat!

Now that my kids are grown, I’m enjoying this time with not only them but my grandchildren as well. We love having a day where we get together with  the family and all the kids and make Christmas cookies and candy.  The kids have such a great time rolling the dough and cutting out the cookies and even sneaking a taste or two here and there!

Another favorite tradition for our family is driving around and looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights. Last year we even did a scavenger hunt.  We sent different families out in their cars with a list of items to find and the first ones back to the house after spotting all of the items on the list was the winner. (we took pics on our phones). That was a lot of fun! Afterwards we all went out to eat ice cream!

Christmas would not be Christmas for us without our traditional Christmas Eve service at church. We all dress up in our holiday best and head out together to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and then enjoy a small meal together afterwards as we anticipate the arrival of Santa! We always find the perfect outfits for the kids to wear that evening at Gymboree!

While all the kids are still at my house, before heading back home, they all change in to special Christmas pajamas that I have bought for each of them and we take a big family picture together. Gymboree always has the perfect pajamas for each one of the kid’s personality and I love seeing their little faces light up when they get to open them and put them on! It’s just the best time to be a kid!

Family and traditions are what Christmas is all about and Gymboree has been one of our favorite traditions for a long time! I’m sure it will continue for many more years to come!
