Babies and children wear the necklace around their necks so that it is close to their skin.The warmth of the skin around the amber will allow the baby to absorb the healing element in amber. The amber reduces inflammation, clears red cheeks, eases pain, and stimulates the thyroid to reduce drooling (so skin conditions clear up). Irritability is reduced and baby sleeps better. The necklace is very light so your baby will hardly notice it is on. It is not meant for the baby to chew on it. Please supervise your baby at all times while wearing the necklace. The necklace should be taken off while your baby sleeps.
The necklace is tied in a knot between each bead so that if the necklace does break, only one bead will come loose. Each bead is rounded and polished on the edges so that it will not harm your baby. The amber bead is non-toxic.
To clean your necklace, just dip it in warm water and dry it with a soft cloth. Do not let it come in contact with hot water. You should not use soap or chemicals on the necklace so please remove it while your baby is bathing/swimming.
Each necklace is approximately 32-35 cm long, as each are handmade.
