What Is Amazon Mom?

Amazon Mom is a membership program aimed at helping parents and caregivers in the prenatal through toddler years use Amazon to find and save on products their families need. Amazon Mom is open to anyone, whether you’re a mom, dad, grandparent, or caretaker. New members are eligible for a 3-month free period.

Benefits during the 3-Month Free Period

By signing up and providing information about your family, you can help us personalize offers, e-mails, and product recommendations to help you find exactly what you need at just the right time. You’ll start with a three-month period that includes:

  • 20% off diapers and wipes subscriptions with Subscribe & Save
  • FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items with Amazon Prime* shipping
  • Exclusive discounts and deals for Amazon Mom members
  • A trial of Prime instant Video in the first 30 days. Note: In some cases, it may take us 24 hours to activate your streaming benefits.

Eligibility

If you’ve already paid for an Amazon Prime membership and you sign up for Amazon Mom, your Prime membership won’t change–we’ll just add your Amazon Mom membership to your account.

Despite the name, you don’t need to be a mom to join. Amazon Mom is open to anyone expecting a baby or caring for a baby or young child, whether you’re a mom, dad, grandparent, or caretaker. We just thought “Amazon Primary Caretaker” didn’t have the same ring to it.

You’re eligible for the Amazon Mom free trial of Amazon Prime shipping provided that you’ve never received shipping benefits through Amazon Mom or Amazon Student. We also consider your free or paid Amazon Prime membership history when determining eligibility for you or your Prime invited guests.

Amazon Mom is limited to one membership per household. If you’re currently an Amazon Prime member, please sign up for Amazon Mom using the account of the primary Prime account holder. If you are currently sharing an Amazon Prime membership but are not the primary account holder, you will not receive the additional 15% discount unless you join Prime through your account.
