Welcome to the Literary Love Giveaway Hop brought to you by Views from the Ville and Money Saving Mindy.  Steals and Deals for Kids has teamed up with some other great bloggers to offer you Prize Packages that revolve around our love for books and reading!

I love children’s books and as a teacher, I know how important it is for parents to read to their children.  I especially love books with bright, colorful pictures and that will teach children an important character lesson.

I have recently reviewed a couple of books that do just that and I am offering one lucky reader the chance to win these beautiful books!

Hugo the Happy Starfish and The Last Bully  was about Hugo’s friends being bullied and hurt, while he watched helplessly.  Hugo decides to form an Anti Bully club and soon the club starts filling with members that used to be bullies themselves.  Every former bully found themselves in the role of victim, when someone bigger came along.  Children learn that the way they treat others will soon be turned back on them, and they also learn that feelings are to be handled carefully and respectfully.

In this story, Howard is obsessed with always winning first place at everything.  He is finally punished for his poor sportsmanship during a soccer game, and while sitting on the sidelines observing, he sees first hand how ugly it is when someone only cares about winning and not the fun of the game or the interest of the players.  As in most children’s stories, Howard learns a valuable lesson and so does your child.  But, at the end of the book there are two pages of simple lesson and reflection time, so your child does not lose sight of the lessons after the story is over.

These are two great books to help your child get ready for going back to school!

To enter to win this Prize Pack of two beautifully, illustrated books, use the rafflecopter below. And don’t forget to hop over to some of the other blogs and see what wonderful gifts they have to offer!

Good luck!!
