Thank you to all of the Veteran’s out there!! There is nothing that could ever re-pay you for your sacrifice!  But here are a few FREEBIES to say “thank you”!

On Monday, Nov. 11, the country will mark Veterans Day — a day to honor those who have served in the armed forces.

 

Many restaurants and businesses will honor veterans with free meals, appetizers, car washes, oil changes and other deals. The following deals have been verified for 2013. Note, some deals are for Monday, others are for different days.

 

First, let’s start with a deal that is valid for everyone. Get free admission to national parks across the country on Nov. 9-11: http://www.nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparks.htm

Carrabba’s is offering all active duty personnel and retired veterans a free appetizer on Nov. 9-11. You will need proof of service such as military ID or dressing in your uniform. Check your nearby location to make sure they are participating: http://www.carrabbas.com/Locator

 

Veterans and active duty military eat free from a special menu at Chili’s on Nov. 11. Proof of service required.  http://www.chilis.com/Documents/VeteransDayMenu2013.pdf

 

Anyone who has served in the U.S. military eats free at Golden Corral on Nov. 11 from 4-9 p.m. No ID required. Dine-in only. http://www.goldencorral.com/

 

With a valid military ID, veterans and active military personnel can have free all-you-can-eat pancakes at Bob Evans on Nov. 11. http://www.bobevans.com/

 

All veterans get a free meal from a special menu on Nov. 11 at Olive Garden. Family dining with the veteran also get 10 percent off. Military families get 10 percent off every day in November. Details: http://www.olivegarden.com/Menu/Specials/

 

Get a free Texas Tonion appetizer and drink at Red Lobster. http://www.redlobster.com/

 

Veterans and active duty military get a free entree from a limited menu at Applebee’s on Nov. 11. Must show military ID. Beverage not included. Menu and details: http://www.applebees.com/veterans-day-menu

 

Champps Americana is offering veterans and active duty military a free burger and fries on Nov. 11. http://champps.com/Events/VeteransDay2013.aspx

 

Texas Roadhouse is offering veterans a free lunch (and beverage) from a special menu on Nov. 11. Proof of military service required. Active, former and retired military welcome. Dine-in only. http://www.texasroadhouse.com/landing-pages/veterans-day-2013

 

Enjoy a free pizza at California Pizza Kitchen on Nov. 11. Proof of military service required. Dine-in only. Valid at participating locations: http://www.cpk.com/

 

Vets get free lunch at TGI Fridays on Nov. 11. The website doesn’t offer any details, but after a call to the Royal Palm Beach location we learned that veterans can choose a free lunch from a limited menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

 

Veterans and active duty military get a free meal at Hooters, up to $10.99, on Nov. 11. Must show proof of service and buy a drink. http://news.hooters.com/press-release/local/hooters-offers-free-meal-military-veterans-day

 

All retired, active and inactive military personnel can have a free bagel and schmear from Einstein Bros. Bagels on Nov. 11 from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. http://www.einsteinbros.com/

 

All military members can get a free order of Crazy Bread at participating Little Caesars locations on Nov. 11. http://www.littlecaesars.com/Locations.aspx

 

With valid military ID, Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion and a drink on Nov. 11, plus 10 percent off all meals through the end of the year. http://www.outback.com/

 

Longhorn Steakhouse is offering a free appetizer for all service members from Nov. 11-14. http://www.longhornsteakhouse.com/
